Lotus Notes
  • Lotus Domino and Notes is the official messaging, calendaring & Scheduling and Collaboration software used University wide.
  • Responsible for day to day administration and support of the UN Central Administration Domino servers and Lotus Notes clients including coordination, planning, support of University wide Lotus Notes.
  • Team Lead of the University's Lotus Notes Technical Team, which consists of team members from all of the UN campuses. The Technical Team evaluates, recommends and implements University wide configuration and/or modifications to the Domino and Notes environment.

Lotus Notes: Applications

  • Technical support for Notes utility applications used by Central Administration staff, examples, Pegboard, Request for Leave, Times, c.Support call center system, Expense Vouchers, Employee Management System.
  • Technical support for Notes applications for the UNL, UNO and UNK campuses, examples, UNO´s c.Support, UNL Dean Evaluation, UNK Request for Leave.
  • Development of applications to automate processes or improve collaboration among staff University wide, examples, NU Factbook, Community Visit Database, Fiscal Notes Tracking, Internal Planning Calendar, NU Presidential Search Committee, Electronic Ballot boxes.

WebFocus

  • Responsible for day to day administration and support for WebFocus.
  • This report generator software provides campus administrative departments with ad-hoc and mission critical student tracking information.
  • Information is presented in a variety of formats and distribution options. Nightly production batch reports are scheduled and distributed via E-mail. Reports created ad-hoc can be printed, E-mailed or viewed on a web-browser.

  • Mailing List Server (Mailman)
  • Mainframe support for Academic computing (COBOL, JCL, DEBUG, CICS) at UNK, Wayne State, SECC
  • Disaster recovery; maintain information, work with team leaders, review of plan, conduct exercises, LDRPS software.
  • Qmaster/Paris distributed printing system used by SAP and mainframe users University wide for report printing.
  • CD report archival system used for SAP and mainframe output.
