
Customer Support Team Change Management, Training and Documentation




The Change Management, Training and Documentation (CMTD) team provides services to both our internal and external customers in several areas: change management, training & documentation on University-wide Administrative systems, train-the-trainer sessions, new employee orientation, internal training and employee performance support system development and maintenance.
Change Management
The University of Nebraska recognizes the importance of building the capability to rapidly and successfully adapt to technology changes. Managing change must be flexible since each change, and how individuals adapt to change, is unique. Awareness and communication to those impacted are vital to the success of the project and allows the entire organization to move forward.
University-wide Administrative Systems Training
CMTD works with internal staff and the campuses to coordinate training and documentation development and delivery for University-wide applications.
Employee Personnel Support System Development and Maintenance
These systems provide university employees just-in-time online support in the form of online help documentation,
news articles, training registration, knowledge base entries, FAQ's, file downloads and help requests.
- SAPPHIRE offers online help for SAP users and resources for other University of Nebraska
business community users.
- nulook Help provides support materials for users of the University of Nebraska's data warehouse,
mynulook.
- Firefly Help provides online help for University of Nebraska’s business portal users.
University-wide e-Learning Tools
e-Learning Tools offer a variety of online learning tools, covering a broad range of technical areas. Online learning allows individuals to study at their own pace without leaving the office. This online tool can be used for initial training, as well as a reference tool in the future.
Internal Training Development and Delivery
These sessions are designed to help employees improve their knowledge of the systems used by CSN, such
as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office or other organization-wide applications.
New Employee Orientation
New CSN employees are given the knowledge they need in regard to internal systems, benefits, policies and procedures and support information.
