Application Development Support





The ADS Team is responsible for the the following areas:
Student Information System (SIS) maintenance, application of system fixes/patches, debugging and other SIS technical support services to SIS campus technical staff; assist in developing enhancements as appropriate for all UNCSN supported SIS systems and components.

Develop new and support existing System-wide Notes applications (e.g, NuValues, NuHelp, etc.) and the integration with U-wide transaction systems.

Develop and support (in coordination with the campuses) the Virtual Integrated University academic portal. Support the Blackboard software initiative, working with the campuses to support upgrades and system enhancements.

Work with the campuses to identify and develop specific web application development standards that can be used for all future web development and their integration with U-wide transaction systems.

Provide on-going IT support to the University Foundation office. Development support for Webfocus reporting needs for the UNO, UNL Student Information Systems and other application systems utilizing WebFocus.

Support the Mercury Winrunner / Loadrunner, Quicktest for systems testing, data loading and applications capacity loading.
