e-Learning Tool
Computing Services Network now offers a variety of e-Learning tools
covering a broad range of technical areas. e-Learning allows individuals
to study at their own pace without leaving the office.
e-Learning
tools can be
used for initial training, then as a reference tool in the future.
Updates as of
SAP Basic Navigation learning
tool added.
New Area Added:
QuickClips allow individuals to study at their own pace without leaving
the office. QuickClips are short, one-topic courses that vary in length,
usually no more than 2-3 minutes.
Known Issues:

The e-Learning tools are currently NOT Mac compatible.
- Problem:
When I click on the link to begin the e-Learning tool nothing happens.

Solution:
Some PC’s are equipped with popup blocking software. Disable any popup
blocking software or contact your department’s computer technician
for assistance.

Problem
When I start the online training all I see is several section divider
pictures flash on the screen.

Solution:
Your PC’s media player is missing a file required to view the
e-Learning tool. Click
here to download the necessary patch and installation instructions. This
patch is safe and will not adversely affect your PC. If you have any questions contact your
department’s computer technician for assistance.

Problem:
I received a Security Warning asking “Do you want to install and
run Shockwave Player?"

Solution:
Shockwave is a web browser plug-in that is required for viewing
the e-Learning tool. Click “yes” and follow the onscreen
instructions or click
here to review the installation instructions.

Problem:
I pressed ESC to close the e-Learning tool, but nothing happened.
Solution:
There are two ways to close the e-Learning tool. Click the
exit or press ALT+F4.
